Writing and editing have always been a part of my career. In college I volunteered as managing editor of Counterpoise, a scholarly journal that reviews independent media, including fiction, non-fiction, zines, audio and visual materials, and children's books. There I developed the communication and organizational skills necessary to manage a publication as well as coordinate PR events and materials.

After graduating summa cum laude in my English degree, I held an internship as web editor at Bonnier Corporation working to put Caribbean Travel and Life's magazine content onto their website.

I then started at Lockheed Martin as an Editor in the Communications department. There I worked in corporate communications, technical writing, and newsletter and article writing. I served as the lead editor on several major business and technical proposals. This experience led me to my current position as the RFP Specialist at Pacific Interpreters. There I manage all aspects of proposals and RFPs and assist in the production of marketing and web content.

While at Pacific Interpreters I've continued to freelance as well as work contract jobs. I'm always looking for new projects doing what I love.
