Creative writing began at age eight when I started to pen my first chapter novel, "Baseballs Don't Bounce". This potential literary masterpiece unfortunately did not make it past chapter three. I, however, kept at writing.
In college I completed my honors creative thesis on the 11M bombings in Madrid and published the short story "The Big White Blanket" in the literary journal, The Mangrove. In March 2009 I began a creative writing exercise online called 50 Words a Day. It chronicled the relationships between four people living in Jacksonville, FL at the pace of exactly fifty words per day. It was an exercise in both character development and editing.
Currently I am writing a novel that will be feature in a weekly serial online. I will post more details once that's launched. I'm also working on an episode of Doctor Who, just for fun.
Some of my favorite books include The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, Objects in Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear by Katharine Weber, and the 44 Scotland Street series by Alexander McCall Smith.
